Betsy Rabold of Westfield is the latest lucky Hoosier to win $1 million from the Hoosier Lottery. Rabold won on a Scratch-off Friday evening and spent an anxious weekend waiting to present her winning ticket to officials at Hoosier Lottery Headquarter Monday.

Michael Laidle of Vincennes matched all six numbers in the January 20 Mega Millions drawing. Unfortunately for Laidle, he didn’t match them all on one ticket. He matched the Megaball®number on one ticket and the first five numbers on another ticket. Thankfully, the five of five he matched earned him a $250,000 prize. The lucky Hoosier claimed his winnings at Hoosier Lottery headquarters Jan. 24.

A Columbus man couldn’t believe what he was seeing when he scratched off a $50,000 prize on a Hoosier Lottery ticket. Robert Sprague did a double-take when the prize appeared on the Break the Bank Scratch-off he was playing.

Angel Pruitt of Guilford, Ind. was taking a lunch break at her desk at work Tuesday at noon when she scratched off a $100,000 prize on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off and immediately started crying. In disbelief, Pruitt asked a co-worker to look at the ticket and confirm what she thought she was seeing on the ticket. Her co-worker concurred that it looked like a $100,000 winner and then she, too, started crying. They called more co-workers over to check the ticket and pretty soon the whole office was in tears.
