BINGO! Angola woman wins $50,000
INDIANAPOLIS –Kimberly Rockey of Angola plans to treat herself to a new car after winning $50,000 on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off this week.
“I’m going to get a new car,” said Rockey. “The one I’m driving now is falling apart.”
It was a Lucky 7s Bingo ticket that will make Rockey’s new wheels possible. The Steuben County woman purchased her winning ticket from a Hoosier Lottery vending machine at Travel Emporium at 1235 East State Road 120 in Fremont.
Rockey says after winning, the first thing she did was text her boyfriend a message that said, “Don’t freak out, but I just won $50,000!”
Rockey is the second lucky winner to claim a $50,000 top-prize on the Hoosier Lottery’s Lucky 7s Bingo Scratch-off. Two top prizes remain unclaimed on the game at this time.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds players to always play responsibly and always sign the back of their tickets.
