Southern Indiana man wins Lucky 5 – twice!
They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, but a Southern Indiana man is living proof that it does. For the second time in less than three years, David Fleenor won a $50,000 prize from the Hoosier Lottery. The Salem, Ind. man presented a winning Lucky 5 ticket and claimed his prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters today. Fleenor matched all five numbers, 7-8-12-19-28, in the April 11, 2011 Lucky 5 drawing. He matched all five numbers in the January 5, 2009 drawing of the same game. Both Fleenor’s 2009 and his current winning ticket were purchased from Sav-A-Step Food Mart at 8715 Highway 111 in Memphis, Ind. Both tickets were quick picks. While he isn’t superstitious about his numbers and plays quick picks, Fleenor pointed out that his most recent winning ticket was printed April 11, 2011 at 11:11.
