Rushville woman clearly sees green

Geraldine Helfer of Rushville is seeing dollar signs after scratching off a $100,000 Hoosier Lottery prize Tuesday.  And it’s a welcome sight for the retiree, who at first glance thought her eyes might be deceiving her. Helfer had good reason to doubt what she was seeing because she was on her way home from the eye doctor when she purchased her ticket. “I told the clerk I didn’t care which five dollar ticket she gave me as long as it was a winner,” said Helfer.  “Boy, was it a winner!” Click here to read more of Geraldine's story.
