Elkhart woman says winning is “surreal”

The numbers “12” and “15” may be an Elkhart woman’s new lucky numbers.  At 12:15 on 12/15 (December 15) Laura Culveyhouse walked into 7-Eleven and purchased a winning $100,000 Bonanza Scratch-off worth $100,000. “It’s unbelievable,” said Culveyhouse.  “It’s surreal.” Culveyhouse works in manufacturing as a corporate credit manager. She took a day off work to claim her winnings Friday at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis.  She made a day of it with her parents and brother who all made the three hour trip to Indy in a Limousine.  Read more of Laura's story here.
