Peru woman scores $100,000

Idajane  Morton of Peru said she was “shaking like a leaf” when she scratched off a $100,000 prize on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off game earlier this week.   Morton presented her winning ticket and claimed her prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis today. The Miami County woman won on the Colts $100,000 Touchdown game.“It feels wonderful!” said Morton as she claimed her winnings.Morton, who is originally from Maine, said the money couldn’t come at a better time.  She plans to use her winnings to visit family in Maine, including her daughter who is about to give birth to Morton’s first grandchild.
