Powerball winner plays in many states but wins in Indiana
Truck driver Richard Heard of Alexandria City, Alabama is used to making long hauls on the road. As a driver for a private company, Heard makes runs from Indiana south to Florida on a weekly basis. Along the way, he purchases lottery tickets from the various states. But it was his recent trip to Indiana that paid off well enough for him to make a personal trip back to the Hoosier state. Heard won a $200,000 prize in the Wednesday, April 6 Powerball drawing with a ticket he purchased from the BP Food Mart in Washington, Ind. located at 2500 SR 57 South.
