Nursing home supervisor from Gary claims $9.2 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot!

Ernestine McKinney of Gary said she "did the ugly cry yesterday," but she had nothing but a wide smile at Hoosier Lottery headquarters Friday as she claimed a $9.2 million Hoosier Lotto prize from the June 22 drawing. Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Sarah M. Taylor presented McKinney with her winnings today at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.

Mega Millions heats up with $415 million jackpot

Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot is an estimated $415 million, and the excitement is building in Indiana! Hoosier Lottery street teams will be out and about with events planned in Bedford, Indianapolis and Greenville on Friday. A Hoosier Lottery spokesperson will be on hand for interviews or live shots at all locations as well.

Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices closed July 4

Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices in Indianapolis, Mishawaka and Evansville will be closed Monday in observance of the July Fourth holiday. Hoosier Lottery drawings will occur at their regular times. Tickets may still be purchased, and prizes less than $600 may be redeemed at most Hoosier Lottery retailers. Hoosier Lottery prize payment offices will reopen Tuesday, July 5 at 8:30 a.m. local time.

Mega Millions jackpot grows to $415 million

With no winner nationwide in last night's $390 million Mega Millions drawing, the jackpot has grown to an estimated $415 million for Friday night.

Estimated $390 million up for grabs in Mega Millions

The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpot estimates are both heating up, with $390 million up for grabs in Mega Millions tonight and $222 million on the line in Wednesday's Powerball drawing. Hoosier Lottery officials are still waiting for the holder of the $9.2 million winning Hoosier Lotto ticket from last Wednesday's drawing to come forward.

$9.2 million jackpot hit in Gary

Hoosier Lottery players will want to check their tickets carefully. Someone is holding a Hoosier Lotto with +PLUS ticket worth millions this morning, and they may not know it yet. One ticket purchased in Gary, Ind. matched all six numbers in last night's drawing and is worth $9.2 million.

Clark County Powerball ticket set to expire

Time is running out. Someone is about to miss out on a $50,000 Powerball prize. A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket purchased in Clark County last December is set to expire Monday evening. The ticket was purchased at Jay C Plus at 9501 St. Rd. 403 in Charlestown. It matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number in the December 16 Powerball drawing. The Dec. 16 winning numbers were: 9-10-32-42-55 PB: 6. The ticketholder has until 5 p.m. EDT June 13 to claim his or her winnings.

Princeton man snags $61,976 on Fast Play JACKPOT!

The Gibson County town of Princeton is the site of another recent major Hoosier Lottery win. Kieffer Minnis, who hails from Princeton, claimed a $61,976 Fast Play JACKPOT! prize at Hoosier Lottery headquarters May 12.

Hanover woman wins $250,000

A Hanover woman is one of the latest lucky Hoosiers to win big money from the Hoosier Lottery. Vicki Matthews claimed a $250,000 top prize on the Super Ticket 7s Scratch-off game May 16, just hours after purchasing her winning ticket in Whitestown.

Indiana son gives mom winning Lottery ticket for Mother’s Day

A Mishawaka woman who received a $50,000 winning Hoosier Lottery ticket from her son for Mother’s Day says it is the second-best Mother’s Day present ever, “next to him!”
