$9.2 million jackpot hit in Gary

Hoosier Lottery players will want to check their tickets carefully. Someone is holding a Hoosier Lotto with +PLUS ticket worth millions this morning, and they may not know it yet. One ticket purchased in Gary, Ind. matched all six numbers in last night's drawing and is worth $9.2 million.

Clark County Powerball ticket set to expire

Time is running out. Someone is about to miss out on a $50,000 Powerball prize. A $50,000 winning Powerball ticket purchased in Clark County last December is set to expire Monday evening. The ticket was purchased at Jay C Plus at 9501 St. Rd. 403 in Charlestown. It matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number in the December 16 Powerball drawing. The Dec. 16 winning numbers were: 9-10-32-42-55 PB: 6. The ticketholder has until 5 p.m. EDT June 13 to claim his or her winnings.

Princeton man snags $61,976 on Fast Play JACKPOT!

The Gibson County town of Princeton is the site of another recent major Hoosier Lottery win. Kieffer Minnis, who hails from Princeton, claimed a $61,976 Fast Play JACKPOT! prize at Hoosier Lottery headquarters May 12.

A Hanover woman is one of the latest lucky Hoosiers to win big money from the Hoosier Lottery. Vicki Matthews claimed a $250,000 top prize on the Super Ticket 7s Scratch-off game May 16, just hours after purchasing her winning ticket in Whitestown.

Gibson County man wins $1 million Hoosier Lottery prize

The tiny town of Patoka, Ind. has been abuzz since one of its 735 residents, Gary Snow II, purchased a $1 million winning Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off ticket at Trade Mart on Grave Street, more than three weeks ago. Snow is a forklift driver at Toyota. Being new on the job without any paid time off, Snow was unable to take time off work to come to Indianapolis to claim his winnings until May 18. “I just started my job in November, and I didn’t have PTO until today,” said Snow. “I worked hard to get that job, and I’m not going to quit.”

Hoosier Lottery celebrates 656 millionaires!

May 20 is National Be a Millionaire Day. Since 1989 the Hoosier Lottery has made millionaires out of 656 lucky Lottery players. The most recent Hoosier Lottery millionaire is George Miller of Fishers who won $3 million on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off in April of this year.

Two northern Indiana players win $75,000 prizes

Hoosier Lottery players recently won big money on Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs in the northern Indiana cities of Hammond and Angola. On April 14, Jose Murillo of Burnham, Ill. claimed a $75,000 top prize on a $5 Loaded $500 Scratch-off he purchased in Hammond. Four days later, on April 18, Richard Bach of Angola claimed a $75,000 top prize on the same game.

$415 million Powerball up for grabs this weekend!

Saturday night's Powerball jackpot is an estimated $415 million with a cash option of $269.7 million.
