$100,000 Taxes Paid Top Prize Winner from Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS – Casaunda Winfield of Indianapolis
was grinning ear to ear this morning when she claimed her $100,000
prize from Hoosier Lottery Headquarters with boyfriend Thomas.
"I play for the hope to win," said Winfield. "We like to try the new ones. Thomas has been playing this game and been pretty successful, so I picked one up, too."
Winfield wound up scratching off the top prize on scratch-off game $100,000 Taxes Paid*.
"We stopped to get a few games and gas," said Winfield who stopped at Admiral Petroleum #165 at 9150 East 21st St. in Indianapolis. "I scratched it off in the car and about did cartwheels in the parking lot!"
Winfield and her boyfriend looked at the ticket quite a few times to make sure it was real.
"We couldn't sleep at all last night," said Thomas. "The closer we got to downtown today, the bigger the smile."
Winfield and her boyfriend plan to purchase a car and get out of debt.
"Thank you, Hoosier Lottery!"
The Hoosier Lottery reminds all players to play responsibly.
