$75,000 win means new car for Indy man
INDIANAPOLIS –Willie Bramlett of Indianapolis purchased a Muscle Car Money scratch-off ticket this morning specifically hoping to win a new car. After scratching off a $75,000 top prize, he’s on his way to the dealership to pick out a car.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet,” said Bramlett. “I can’t believe it. I needed a car. It just doesn’ t seem real. I want to scream and shout. It’s a beautiful thing.”
Bramlett purchased his winning ticket at Village Pantry located at 5102 E. 10th Street in Indianapolis.
Muscle Car Money offers players a chance to win cash up to $75,000 or the muscle car of their choice instantly. The game came out a week ago and already players are winning big.
Harold Thompson and his son, Tad, both of Greenwood, Ind., won the car but opted to split their winnings by accepting the cash equivalent valued at just over $53,000. They purchased their winning ticket at Village Pantry located at 899 E. Main Street in Greenwood.
Tina Fugate of Martinsville, Ind. won $75,000 on a Muscle Car Money ticket purchased at Convenient Food Mart at 589 South Morton in Martinsville
Four top prizes of $75,000 remain unclaimed at this time.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds players to always play responsibly, and to always sign the back of their tickets. Hoosier Lottery players have 180 days to claim prizes on Hoosier Lottery draw games.
As with all Hoosier Lottery games, the net income generated from sales of Scratch-off tickets in Indiana is turned over to the state. Last year, the Hoosier Lottery transferred $190 million to the state where it was allocated to teachers, police and firefighters retirement funds as well as the Build Indiana Fund which ultimately reduces Hoosiers' license plate costs.
