Elkhart retailer sells $50,000 winning Cash 5 ticket
INDIANAPOLIS (July 26, 2013) - Somebody may be rich and not even know it. A ticket purchased at Martin's at 120 Sanford Road in Elkhart is worth $50,000 in a recent Hoosier Lottery Cash 5 drawing.
The winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the July 25 Cash 5 drawing. The winning numbers are: 10-15-26-27-38.
The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back and call Hoosier Lottery Customer Service. Prizes of $50,000 or more must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis.
The lucky Elkhart winner will join a club of Cash 5 winners from Batesville, Fort Wayne, Greenfield, Hammond, Indianapolis, Jasonville, Merrillville, Michigan City, Monterey, Monticello, Muncie, New Haven, Remington, South Bend and Whiteland.
Cash 5 averages more than 4,000 winners every night and costs just $1 per play. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 8.8. The jackpot starts at $50,000 and rolls, or increases, every night until it is hit.
