"Four little quarters!" said Sally Wilson. "Four quarters made a difference! Don't get me wrong, with $200,000 we'd have jumped for joy. This ($1 million) doesn't even register."
"Hopefully this won't change us at all," said Joshua Wilson. "It'll maybe make things a little easier."
The Wilsons live in Fort Wayne in the summer where Joshua works paving asphalt with his brother-in-law. In the winter they live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sally Wilson is from the Fort Wayne area and is a stay-at-home mom to the couple's four children. The Wilson's have four sons ranging in age from nine months to 14 years-old.
The grateful couple say they don't know exactly what they will do with their winnings, but they say they intend to "be smart!" They are committed to creating a long term strategy that will allow them to ultimately provide a better, more secure future for their sons.
"Our life is our children. We want to make sure they have all the options open to them," said Sally Wilson.
"We're going to take care of them," added Joshua Wilson.
