Halloween Millionaire Raffle adds third $1 million prize!
INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 31, 2013) - Hoosier Lottery players now have another chance to go as a millionaire this Halloween. As of Oct. 30, the number of $1 million prizes in the Halloween Millionaire Raffle has been increased from two to THREE - but time is running out!
Sales for the drawing close at midnight tonight, and the drawing will be Nov. 1. Tickets for the raffle are $10 each and are available at more than 4,000 Hoosier Lottery retail locations across the state.
The Halloween Millionaire Raffle is available in seven states and offers three million-dollar prizes. Indiana is guaranteed to have a winner of at least $50,000. If Friday's grand prize drawing produces no $1 million hit in Indiana, a drawing awarding a $50,000 prize in Indiana will take place.
The Hoosier Lottery offered its own twist on the Halloween Millionaire Raffle, with early bird drawings in September and October. In those drawings, 3,000 lucky winners were each awarded a $50 prize!
Winning numbers will be available at www.hoosierlottery.com following Friday's drawing. Raffle players must keep their tickets to check them against the winning raffle numbers and to claim a prize.
In addition to the Hoosier Lottery, other lotteries participating in the multi-state raffle are Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Oklahoma.
ABOUT THE HOOSIER LOTTERY: Hoosier Lottery distributions benefit every county throughout Indiana. Each fiscal year, the Hoosier Lottery contributes $30 million to Police and Firefighters' Pensions, and $30 million to the Teacher's Retirement Fund. The remainder of Hoosier Lottery earnings help reduce motor vehicle excise taxes by 50 percent.
