Home Repair and Renovation in Store for Lucky 5 Winner
INDIANAPOLIS – Ralph Frazee
of Cedar Lake
says winning $50,000
from the Hoosier Lottery "feels great." Frazee matched five numbers in last Friday's Lucky 5
Midday drawing. After a weekend of waiting, Frazee claimed his prize with his wife Berthyne at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis Monday.
"It feels great!" said Frazee. "I've got a few things to do with the house and now I won't owe anything! We'll probably redo the bathroom, get new kitchen countertops and get a new couch."
Frazee is retired from Ford. He says he enjoys playing Lucky 5 and has been playing the five numbers that just paid off for him, 3-6-9-10-14, for a couple months now.
The Lake County man bought his winning ticket at Zip Foods at 7208 West 132nd Ave. in Cedar Lake.
The odds of winning the $50,000 top prize are 1:376,992.
Since 1989, Hoosier Lottery players have won more than $7.6 billion in prizes. The Hoosier Lottery has transferred $3.7 billion to the state for the benefit of the citizens of Indiana.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds all players to please play responsibly.
