Hoosier Lottery and Indianapolis Colts Unveil New Games for Fans
INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Colts fans have more to cheer about during this year’s football season. Earlier this morning, the Hoosier Lottery and Indianapolis Colts announced plans for a partnership between the two organizations. Hoosier Lottery Executive Director Kathryn A. Densborn joined Indianapolis Colts Vice President of Sales and Marketing Tom Zupancic in promoting the campaign at the Indianapolis Colts Training Camp facility on the campus of Anderson University.
Densborn and Zupancic unveiled this season’s edition of the scratch-off game Colts $100,000 Touchdown now featuring three different Colts-themed designs. The partnership expands last year’s efforts of the first, and highly successful, Colts scratch-off offered to Hoosier Lottery players.
“In the lottery business we are all about delivering winning experiences,” says Densborn. “Our partnership with the Indianapolis Colts allows us to expand those opportunities for fans.”
Colts $100,000 Touchdown, offering players cash prizes up to $100,000 and a chance to win season tickets instantly, goes on sale to the public August 5, 2010. A second chance promotion is included allowing Colts fans the opportunity to enter their non-winning tickets online, through My Lottery found on the Hoosier Lottery website, for extra chances to win all season long.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Indianapolis Colts again this season,” said Densborn. “Consistently recognized as one of the best brands in professional sports, we discovered the Colts appeal with our players as well. Last year’s ticket really resonated with our players making it one of the Hoosier Lottery’s best-selling $5 scratch-off games.”
“We are excited about our partnership with the Hoosier Lottery and the new scratch-off game,” said Zupancic. “We had outstanding participation with last year’s game. This lottery game will provide Colts fans with another exciting way to be a part of the team.”
The Hoosier Lottery will continue its presence at Lucas Oil Stadium again this season. Hoosier Lottery staff will be at two locations offering fans a number of fun activities and chances to win great Hoosier Lottery prizes. Fans can visit the Colts FanZone outside the stadium prior to the start of each game; or stop by the Hoosier Lottery Fun Zone, inside Lucas Oil near Gate 135, during the game for a chance to spin the wheel or play other games for special prizes. Draw games including the three big jackpot games, Powerball® with Power Play®, Hoosier Lotto, and Mega Millions® with Megaplier®, will be available for purchase along with the Hoosier Lottery’s most popular scratch-off games including the new Colts $100,000 Touchdown.
