Hoosiers win big with 1-1-1!
Monday's triples are first since ball drawings returned to airwaves in Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS (Nov. 13, 2013) - Hoosier Lottery players were big winners when the sequence 1-1-1 was drawn as Monday night's Daily 3 winning numbers. Monday was Veterans Day - and 11/11/13.
The payout for the triple 1-1-1 drawing was a whopping 565 percent, for a total of $269,500! An expected Daily 3 payout is about 50 percent.
The occurrence of the same three numbers being drawn in the Daily 3 drawings is rare, with only 66 such occasions in the last 10 years. Most recently, 3-3-3 was drawn in the August 22 Midday drawing. Prior to Monday's 1-1-1 drawing, that sequence last appeared on August 14 in the Midday drawing.
Monday's triple 1-1-1 is the first set of triples drawn since the Hoosier Lottery Daily 3 and Daily 4 ball drawings returned to television in September.
Currently, players can watch Daily 3 and Daily 4 drawings on the following affiliates: WFFT-TV FOX Local in Fort Wayne, WNDU-TV (NBC) South Bend, FOX59 in Central Indiana, WEHT (ABC) and WTVW (CW) in Evansville and WTWO (NBC) in Terre Haute.
Beginning Nov. 25 players in northwest Indiana can catch the daily drawings weeknights on WYIN.
All Daily 3 and Daily 4 drawings may also be viewed on the Hoosier Lottery's YouTube channel.
