HUGE night for Hoosier Lottery players: $3.5 million hit in Corydon; $1 million in East Chicago
$120,000 Cash 5 in Hartford City; $10,000 Powerball in Fort Wayne
INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 6, 2013) - Saturday night was a huge night for Hoosier Lottery players who snagged millions in prizes including a $3.5 million Hoosier Lotto jackpot in Corydon, a $1 million Powerball prize in East Chicago, a $120,000 Cash 5 jackpot in Hartford City, $35,000 on multiple Daily 4 tickets in Carmel and a $10,000 Powerball prize in Fort Wayne.
The $3.5 million Corydon Hoosier Lotto jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Highway 135 BP located at 5530 Highway 135 South West. That ticket matched all six numbers in last night's Hoosier Lotto drawing. The Oct. 5 Hoosier Lotto numbers are: 2-9-11-15-22-40.
The $1 million Powerball ticket was purchased at Raceco at 4502 Indianapolis Boulevard in East Chicago. That ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number, in last night's drawing. The winning Powerball numbers for Oct. 5 are: 11-12-17-39-40 PB: 5.
The $120,000 winning Cash 5 ticket was purchased at John's Service at 115 South Walnut Street in Hartford City. That ticket matched all five Cash 5 numbers drawn in the Oct. 5 drawing. Those winning numbers are: 5-13-25-30-37.
A Powerball ticket purchased at Five Points Citgo at 702 East Paulding Road in Fort Wayne matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number and is worth $10,000 in last night's drawing.
Meijer on West Carmel Drive in Carmel sold several Daily 4 tickets worth more than a combined $35,000 at the gas station and service desk purchase locations for last night's Daily 4 drawing. The winning numbers were 1-5-1-9.
The holders of these tickets should sign the back and contact Hoosier Lottery customer service for instructions on how to claim. Prizes of $50,000 and more must be claimed at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.
