Indy man wins big at Buck’s IGA
INDIANAPOLIS – Loren Jacobs of Indianapolis always buys his groceries at Buck’s Market. He says the little grocery store, also known as Buck’s IGA, located at 3015 South Meridian Street is “the best place in town to buy meat.”
Jacobs also plays Mix & Match at Buck’s faithfully every Tuesday and Friday – a fact which got him more than just a good cut of beef at Buck’s this week. Tuesday night he won $200,000 on a Mix & Match ticket purchased at Buck’s.
“I’m glad I got off my butt and bought a ticket!” said Jacobs. “The weather was bad but I went out anyway.”
Jacobs is a retired truck driver and a creature of habit. With Lottery winnings in the bank, he says that’s about to change. Jacobs plans to buy a new van and do some travelling.
“I’m gonna go north while it’s warm, then head south and west when it’s cold,” said Jacobs.
The April 5 Mix & Match winning numbers were: 13-14-30-33-43.
As with all Hoosier Lottery games, the net income generated from the sale of Mix & Match is turned over to the state. Last year, the Hoosier Lottery transferred $190 million to the state where it was allocated to teachers, police and firefighters retirement funds as well as the Build Indiana Fund which ultimately reduces Hoosiers’ license plate costs.
Players have 180 days to claim prizes on Hoosier Lottery draw games. The Hoosier Lottery reminds players to always play responsibly.
