LaGrange County man wins $17,500 in

 Evansville Hoosier Millionaire Show

INDIANAPOLIS (March 28, 2014) - Jack Binkley of Wolcottville won $17,500 in the Evansville Hoosier Millionaire live road show and will advance to the Championship show in Indianapolis August 16 where he will compete for a chance at $1 million!

Last night's live 25th Anniversary Hoosier Millionaire road show was held at the Evansville Center Theatre.  Hosts, Mark Patrick, Barbara Hobbs, an Evansville native, and Tony Lamont entertained the crowd and guided the contestants through Indiana's favorite game show format.

After three fierce rounds and a playoff round, Binkley emerged the top prize winner and advanced to the Final Round with $12,500. 

Binkley had the chance to win up to $10,000 during the Final Round. His first pick revealed $1,000, but he elected to make a second pick before stopping, a decision that earned him $5,000 in the Final Round.  Binkley walked away with $17,500 in total winnings and a chance to compete for $1 million in the Championship show in August!

The show featured five other contestants,Tiffany DeVon of Elkhart, William Sparling of Crown Point, Mark Lutzow of Crown Point, Ty Kipker of Warsaw and Leah Gross of Oolitic who was chosen as the sixth contestant from the audience.

DeVon won $4,500; Sparling, $9,500 Lutzow, $6,000; Kipker, $2,500 and Gross walked away with $5,500.  

The next live road show is at the Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum on April 17.  The first five contestants on the Fort Wayne show are:

• Rick Rhodes of Kokomo 
• Mary Jane Head of Alexandria
• Glenda Catt of Peru
• Jeanette Bogacki of Evansville
• Susie Saunders of Columbus

The sixth contestant will be selected from the audience on site at each live road show. 

Players can still enter their non-winning tickets at through July 6 for a chance to be a contestant on four of the five remaining shows. They can also attend the shows and enter non-winning tickets on site for the chance to be the sixth contestant.

The remaining shows are in Fort Wayne on April 17, Terre Haute on May 15, New Albany on June 19, Elkhart on July 24 and Indianapolis on August 16. The Championship Show is also August 16 at the Indiana State Fair.
