Marion Woman Takes Top Prize
INDIANAPOLIS – A Marion
woman is the latest lucky Hoosier to win a top prize on the Hoosier Lottery scratch-off game 20X the Money
. Inger Bolden
claimed a prize of $150,000
at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters on Friday afternoon. Bolden was accompanied by her aunt, Teresa Jackson.
The Grant County woman purchased her winning ticket from Circle K at 702 S. Washington in Marion where she frequently purchases her tickets. Even though she plays to win, Bolden was shocked to discover she really had won. She was so shocked that she dropped her recently purchased soda in the middle of the street and took off running to tell her friend and sister.
"I love scratching!" said Bolden with a smile.
As for her plans for her winnings, Bolden said that her only concrete plans at this time involve helping her family.
Since 1989, Hoosier Lottery players have won more than $7.6 billion in prizes. The Hoosier Lottery has transferred $3.7 billion to the state for the benefit of the citizens of Indiana.
