Merrillville Meijer sells $74 million Powerball ticket
Back-to-back jackpot wins for the state
INDIANAPOLIS – For the second time this month, a single jackpot-winning Powerball® ticket was sold in the state of Indiana. Saturday night’s $74 million Powerball ticket was sold at Meijer located at 611 W. Lincoln Hwy in Merrillville, Ind. on U.S. 30 just west of I-65 at exit 253.
The winning numbers drawn were: 3-11-47-48-58. The Powerball number was 19 and the Power Play® number was 3.
Powerball had been growing since April 6 when the jackpot was last hit in Indiana with a winning ticket worth $221.7 million. Two men from southern Indiana claimed their winnings from that drawing at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters just last week.
Hoosier Lottery officials remind players to check their numbers carefully and to sign the back of their tickets immediately. The person holding the winning ticket should contact the Hoosier Lottery Customer Service Department for details on how to claim their prize at 1-800-955-6886.
This win marks the 38th time a winning Powerball jackpot has been won in the Hoosier State.
More details will be released as information becomes available.
