Southern Indiana man wins $40,000 with Power Play®
INDIANAPOLIS –Ronald Moore of Guilford says “I always play Power Play!”
Adding Power Play to his Powerball ticket increased what would have been a $10,000 prize to a $40,000 prize in the Feb. 8 drawing.
Moore says it “feels great” to win. He added with a laugh, “especially since my wife gives me grief for playing.”
Moore works in snow and ice removal and plans to use his winnings to “do some work on the house.”
Moore purchased his lucky ticket at Tandy’s IGA at 201 3rd Street in Aurora. He matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number with Power Play. The winning numbers Feb. 8 were: 17-28-38-39-51 PB: 33.
