The Price is Right in Marion County
INDIANAPOLIS - A Homeland Security employee in Marion County is the latest Hoosier Lottery player to win big on the Hoosier Lottery's The Price is Right scratch-off ticket. Barbara Goble of Indianapolis claimed a $75,000 prize on the game on Friday. She was accompanied by her husband, Doug.
Initially neither Barbara or her husband could believe their good fortune.
“People like us just don’t win,” said Doug Goble.
But they do - and the Goble's know it first hand now. In fact, Goble admits she took a trip to a jewelry store to purchase a little something for herself before claiming her prize. She and Doug say they are also planning to pay off both of their cars, plan a vacation and be debt free in preparation of retirement in a little over 2 years.
Barb Goble bought her ticket at Kroger at 2200 Independence Drive in Greenwood. She said she plays the The Price is Right ticket because it is “a fun ticket and the best one out there with four chances to win!”
“Thank you very much!” said Goble.
Since 1989, Hoosier Lottery players have won more than $7.6 billion in prizes. The Hoosier Lottery has transferred $3.7 billion to the state for the benefit of the citizens of Indiana.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds all players to please play responsibly.
