Value Book pays out first $50,000!
Prizes also continue on multiplier family of games
INDIANAPOLIS (April 4, 2014) -- Susan Atkins knows a value when she sees one.
With less than one week of sales on the books, the Hoosier Lottery's Lucky 7s Value Book has already produced its first $50,000 winner. Atkins, of Martinsville, claimed the prize yesterday at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis.
Atkins, a teacher who is the mother of three, said she had to look at her ticket three times! She plans to help her family with her prize money.
Atkins purchased her winning ticket at Murphy's Gas in Martinsville.
The Lucky 7s Value Book went on sale on April 1. The $20 Scratch-off offers $30 worth of tickets and features six top prizes of $250,000. In addition to the $50,000 prize just claimed, the game also offers eight other $50,000 prizes and 63 $10,000 prizes.
Also flying off the shelves are the games in the multiplier family. Since March 4, over $11 million in prizes has been won on over one million tickets.
The family features 5X the Cash, for $1;10X the Cash, for $2; $20X the Cash, for $5; $50X the Cash, for $10, and 100X the Cash, for $20. Prizes range from $40 on 5X the Cash to $2 million on 100X the Cash!
