Warsaw man plans warm weather vacation with winnings
INDIANAPOLIS – A new Hoosier is the latest big Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off winner. Joacim Ramirez moved to Warsaw from Georgia just two months ago. Last week he scratched off a $125,000 top prize on the Cash Explosion game.
“I’m nervous and happy!” said Ramirez as he claimed his prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis today.
Unaccustomed to the cold and snow, Ramirez plans to use his winnings to take a vacation somewhere warm. Despite the cold winter weather, Ramirez says he also plans to use his winnings to put down roots in the Hoosier state. He wants to buy a house in Warsaw.
“I like it here. I like my job. I’m not moving,” said Ramirez.
The Kosciusko County resident is a forklift operator. He purchased his lucky ticket at Wilby’s Gas & Goodies at 602 North 1st Street in Pierceton.
The Hoosier Lottery reminds players to always play responsibly, and to always sign the back of their tickets.
