Winning ticket sold in Muncie hauls in
Cash 5 jackpot worth $207,000

Cash 5INDIANAPOLIS – A Cash 5 ticket purchased at a Muncie retailer hit the jackpot in last night’s drawing and is worth a game-record $207,000.

The ticket, which matched all five numbers, was sold by Village Pantry at 2501 South Macedonia in Muncie. The winning numbers drawn were:  13-14-20-31-39. Players should check their numbers carefully at and sign the backs of their tickets immediately.

Friday night’s jackpot hit was the third in the short history of Cash 5, which launched Nov. 4. Edgar Relf of Merrillville laid claim to the first jackpot prize of $77,500 in the Nov. 15 drawing; Nancy Harman of Fort Wayne scored a $52,500 jackpot win two nights later. No one had matched all five numbers in a Cash 5 drawing since that night, which allowed the jackpot to swell to a record level.

At just $1 per play, Cash 5 offers the best cash odds of any Hoosier Lottery draw game.  The overall odds of winning are 1 in 8.8. Cash 5 numbers are drawn every night. The jackpot starts at $50,000 and rolls, or increases, every night until it is hit. Players may purchase Cash 5 tickets anywhere Hoosier Lottery draw games are sold and may be purchased simply by asking a retail clerk for "Cash 5."

The Hoosier Lottery reminds all players to play responsibly.
