HIT THE JACKPOT
Two wins in a week for Bluffton
Anita Ybarra of Bluffton is the first lucky player to claim a $100,000 prize on the Hoosier Lottery’s new Hit the Jackpot Scratch-off. She is the second player in Bluffton to win $100,000 from the Hoosier Lottery this week. On Monday another Bluffton resident, Rose Williams, became the first $100,000 winner on the new Hoosier Lottery game, Tag 6, on a ticket purchased at Handi Spot at 616 W. Lancaster St. in Bluffton. Bluffton has a population of approximately 9,900. The Hit the Jackpot game that paid off for Ybarra today went on sale this morning. Ybarra works at a bar that sells the Hit the Jackpot game. After selling it to a few customers, Ybarra thought it looked fun so she grabbed her tip money and ventured across the street to Pak-A-Sak at 204 West Wabash Street and bought one for herself. She took it back to work where she scratched it and was shocked to discover a $100,000 win. “It feels pretty great!” said Ybarra who was smiling from ear to ear as she claimed her prize at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters today. “I love it!” To read more about Anita's story, click here.
