Madison County man hopes to buy house with Lottery winnings
New father and 19-year-old Christopher Skaggs of Ingalls, Ind., says winning $100,000 from the Hoosier Lottery is “wild.” “I’m in shock,” said Skaggs as he waited for his winnings at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis last week. “It’s wild, especially being 19 years old.” The self-employed mechanic hopes to use his winnings to purchase a house, providing he can find one with a suitable garage. The money comes at a great time for the new father. “I’ve got a four month old and I’ve fought all my life to make money,” said Skaggs. “This means a lot.” Read the rest of Christopher's story here.
