Crown Point couple wins $1 million playing Mega Millions with Megaplier
Lifelong Crown Point residents, David and Peggy Keller, came forward to claim a $1 million Mega Millions® with Megaplier® prize this afternoon. They received their check in a formal check presentation at The Hen at 524 North Main Street in Crown Point where they purchased their lucky ticket. David Keller is retired after 35 years with the railroad and Peggy works in a family business selling and installing kitchen countertops and cabinets. The couple have two grown daughters and four young grandchildren. The couple said they want to make their money work for their family in the long run and have already spoken with a financial advisor. After some home improvements they plan to start college funds for their grandchildren and eventually take the whole family on a trip to Disney World.
