Greenwood woman’s “occasional” purchase comes up big
A spur-of-the-moment decision to grab a Powerball® with Power Play® ticket after filling up with gas led to a $200,000 payday for one Greenwood resident November 22. Honey Neville, an accounting specialist, said she only buys tickets “sporadically, if we happen to have cash on us.” Lucky for her, when she stopped in at the Speedway at 8955 U.S. 31 in Indianapolis, she did. That cash bought her a Quick Pick ticket that matched all five white balls, but not the Powerball number. The couple said they plan on taking a Florida vacation to visit family, enjoying a nicer-than-planned Christmas, and continue to provide for themselves and their five children.
