Indianapolis retiree turns $5 into $150,000
Retiree James Knarr turned $5 into $150,000 when he won a top prize on the Casino Cash Scratch-off today. The Indianapolis man purchased his winning ticket from a vending machine at Marsh Supermarket at 35 Lynhurst Road in Indianapolis. “It feels great!” said Knarr. “I must have looked at the ticket six or seven times before I left the store to make sure I wasn’t seeing things.” The Marion County resident is a retired janitor who volunteers at Methodist Hospital to stay busy. As for his winnings, Knarr says he “hopes to keep it in the bank.” Click here to read more of James' story.
