THE PRICE IS RIGHT
Double-lucky Waterloo family looking forward to mortgage-free living
Janet and Jim Rowe of Waterloo are the first lucky players to win a $75,000 top prize on the Hoosier Lottery's new The Price is Right® scratch-off game. The lucky couple said they were drawn to the game because their son-in-law, Jayce Wilcox, won a $75,000 top prize on a similarly-themed The Price Is Right® Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off in June 2010. “It’s kind of unreal,” said Jim Rowe. “Our son-in-law won $75,000 on The Price Is Right® (scratch-off) lottery game a couple years ago in Fort Wayne.” The Rowe’s both work in manufacturing. They plan to put their winnings to good use by paying off their house. “That’s what we really want to do,” said Janet Rowe. “It’ll be so cool not to have a house payment.” “This is going to relieve a lot of stress,” said Jim Rowe. “All thanks to a five-dollar scratch-off!” Read more of Janet and Jim's story here.
