Warsaw winner has warm-weather wishlist
A recent arrival to the Hoosier State wasted no time in making himself at home by winning the top prize of $125,000 in the Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off Cash Explosion! Joacim Ramirez, a forklift operator, left Georgia for Indiana right at the peak of the gorgeous, crisp Midwestern fall, only to be brutalized by a windy, snowy and cold Midwestern winter two months after his arrival. Ramirez said while he is planning a warm-weather retreat with some of his prize money, most is earmarked for putting down roots here in his adopted home. "I like it here, I like my job. I'm not moving," he said. To read more about Joacim's win, click here.
