Hoosier Lottery win brings Mishawaka winners one step closer to dream Hawaiian vacation
A Mishawaka man and his wife had always planned to go to Hawaii for their 25th wedding anniversary. Life had other plans and the pair were unable to make the trip when their silver anniversary came around.
Now, as they approach 30 years of marriage, they are hoping a $77,777 Hoosier Lottery win will help.
After more than 30 years working in RV factories in the Elkhart area, Mark and Cheryl Jacobs of Mishawaka are both retired due to disability, having nearly lost their lives in a car accident several years ago. If their financial situation allows, the couple hopes to use their winnings to make their Hawaii dream a reality.
“We’re going to pay bills,” said Mark Jacobs. “If we can, we might go to Hawaii.”
Jacobs won a top prize on a Super 7s Scratch-off he purchased at One Stop at 1831 East Day Road in Mishawaka. Read more about the new 7s Series Scratch-off here.
