Elizabeth and Marvin
BREAK THE BANK
Christmas comes early for Franklin family
When Marvin Pruitt and his mother stopped at Tobacco Road in Franklin Tuesday afternoon they received good and bad news. The bad news was that the bathroom was out of order. The good news came in the form of an early Christmas present, a $50,000 winning Break the BankScratch-off from the Hoosier Lottery. Pruitt immediately grabbed his wife Elizabeth and their six children and drove straight to Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis to claim his winnings. As he collected his check Pruitt was so emotional he could barely speak. “We work hard and we do OK, but with six kids it’s hard to have anything extra,” said Pruitt. “This is all about my babies. This is for them.” Read more of Elizabeth and Marvin's story here.
