Fort Wayne dad experiences tuition relief after Powerball win
Michael Banks isn’t a regular lottery player. In fact he is not much of a gambler at all. So it came as a complete surprise when his Powerball ticket from the March 2 drawing was worth $200,000. For the Ft. Wayne father of two, the surprise win will help offset college tuition for his children. Banks, a driver for National Serv-All Sanitation, purchased his winning ticket from Murphy USA located at 7504 South Town Crossing in Ft. Wayne. “I’m just a real laid-back, mellow guy,” said Banks. “But this is real nice for my kids. I have one daughter in college right now and my son will go next year so this will definitely help with tuition!” To read more about Michael's story, click here.
