Columbus Hoosier Lotto™ winners come forward
A group of six friends in Columbus calling themselves “Thursday Lunch Six” presented Lottery officials with a little slip of paper worth very big bucks recently. That little slip of paper was a jackpot-winning Hoosier Lotto ticket worth $5.1 million in the August 4 drawing. The six winners, Tom Brown, his wife Shirley Brown, Glenn Petri, Jane Sims, Martha Conway Risk and Victoria Glick, each received approximately $850,000 before taxes. The Thursday Lunch Six have played Powerball® together as a group for about a year, but only started putting their money on Hoosier Lotto two weeks ago. “Obviously that was a good move,” said Tom Brown.
