Extra buck means extra $20,000 bucks for Yorktown dad
Troy Guinn of Yorktown added the Power Play to his Powerball ticket for an extra $1 and happened to match four of the first five numbers, and the Powerball number, a feat with odds of 1 in nearly 650,000, which earned him a $30,000 prize in last Wednesday's Powerball drawing. Troy just happened to claim his prize at the same time as the only other winner in the state to win $30,000 in the same Poweball drawing claimed his prize as well. Troy has been a Hoosier lottery player since its start in Indiana 25 years ago and he plays his special Powerball numbers faithfully every week. After paying a few bills, Troy plans to surprise his daughter with her first car. "She is going to have her license soon and has been talking about a car for months," Guinn said.
